Birdman Announces Two New Albums

Birdman gets back to business. While his problems with Lil Wayne have yet to be resolved, the Cash Money boss is moving forward with plans for two new projects this summer.

The first is a solo album entitled Ms. Gladys, named after his mother, set for June. He announced the effort with a photo of himself holding cash on Instagram. Earlier this month, Birdman unleashed a video for the title track where he talks about his parents and how they raised him.

The second project on deck is Rich Gang’s Rich Gang 2: The Lifestyle, the sequel to 2013’s self-titled compilation. Due in July, the album was announced with its own cover art, adorned in a red-and-gold paisley print.

While the first compilation featured Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug, it’s unclear if the rappers will be involved this time around due to their public fallout following their “Lifestyle” collaboration.

In any case, it looks like it’s going to be a busy summer for Birdman.
