Foxy Brown Receives the Key to Brooklyn
The Ill Na Na has the key to Brooklyn. Foxy Brown was honored with the key to her hometown on Monday (Feb. 29) during the third annual Leaders of Tomorrow Brooklyn Honors event.
The 37-year-old rapper, born Inga Marchand, was humbled by the honor. “Wow!!!!!!!!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Only ONE Chick Alone Got The ‘KEY’ To Her HOME #BROOKLYN!!!!!!!🏦 It’s OFFICIAL! BK Is #MINE,” she wrote on Instagram.
Diggy Simmons and Joey Bada$$ were also on hand for the ceremony, where they were celebrated as “Leaders of Tomorrow.”

Foxy isn’t the only MC who recently obtained a key to their city. Last month, Drake got the key to Toronto while Kendrick Lamar obtained the key to Compton.
