New Music: Lil Wayne - 'Trouble'

Here comes “Trouble.” Fresh off the release of Zayn’s “Pillowtalk (Remix)” and his Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, and Birdman collaboration “Hate,” another Lil Wayne banger has been unveiled.

“This song leaked nearly a decade ago while [Weezy] was working on Tha Carter III,” said StreetRunner, the song’s producer. “Now here it is mixed and mastered by Tommy Peluso.”

Over a soulful, piano-laden instrumental, Tunechi reflects on suicide, drug dealing, and stealing “from the rich so the poor can eat.” Meanwhile StreetRunner’s Leah Kunkel sample stings with these lyrics: “I run with trouble. Trouble is my friend.”
