Rihanna is a show-stopper. After getting a platinum plaque for her latest album ANTI and making history by earning RIAA’s first 100 million song award, she proved this yet again, only this time, as a designer.
On Friday (Feb. 12), RiRi debuted her Fenty x Puma collection before a star-studded crowd during New York Fashion Week.
“I think design is a part of being creative,” the “Work” singer told The Associated Press. “I enjoy creating and expressing the crazy things going on in my mind through something that people can see and that is tangible. That is the best part, being able to express yourself.”

“Fashion to me was just one of those things that came naturally,” she added. “I enjoy discovering it — all the different styles, finishes, fabrics, silhouettes. It’s not easy, but it doesn’t feel like work.”
The presentation drew family and friends including Chris Rock, Naomi Campbell, Ne-Yo, Travis Scott, Wale, and Vogue editor Anna Wintour. While Kanye West couldn’t attend (he was finishing The Life of Pablo), Yeezy praised RiRi on Twitter.
“Wow the paradigm has shifted,” he tweeted. “She killed it… everything is changed now!!!! Lil Sis kiiiiiiiilled this shit!!!!!!!”
