New Music: A$AP Ferg - 'Work (Remix)'

  /  02.09.2016

A$AP Ferg is taking it to a new level with his remix to Rihanna’s “Work.” The Trap Lord, who dropped a single of his own called “Work” in 2013, puts his spin on RiRi’s ANTI hit, which is No. 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. Over the Boi-1da instrumental, he takes it back to PT Vale and Carnival and shares his love for all kinds of women.

“You know I got a thing for a ballerina, or a thick brown chick built like Serena,” he raps. “No disrespect to Drizzy, bro, you my ni**a / Just found an instrumental and I had to kill it.”

Just last week, Ferg liberated an unreleased song from 2011 called “$pice Girls.” In between dates on G-Eazy’s “When It’s Dark Out” tour, he is readying Always Strive and Prosper, the follow-up to his 2013 debut Trap Lord.

Listen to Ferg put in “Work” below.
