Kanye West Changes Album Title to 'Waves'

  /  01.26.2016

Swish is no more. Kanye West has had a last-minute change of heart and renamed his album Waves.

He made the announcement on Twitter on Tuesday evening (Jan. 26), less than two days after revealing the tracklisting. This marks the third album title. Before Swish, the project was called So Help Me God.

“This is not album of the year. This is album of the life,” tweeted ‘Ye.

The Waves title comes from one of 10 tracks on the album, which also includes “Real Friends” and “No More Parties in LA” featuring Kendrick Lamar.

He will premiere Waves and present his Yeezy Season 3 collection during a live event at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 11. The event will also feature a performance by visual artist Vanessa Beecroft and be broadcast live in select theaters worldwide.
