Kendrick Lamar is ringing in the new year on late night. The Compton rapper will kick off 2016 with a visit to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” this week.

According to NBC’s listings, Lamar will sit down for an interview and serve as musical guest on the show’s Jan. 7 episode, marking his first appearance on the show.

Next month, he will head to the 58th Annual Grammy Awards, where he is nominated 11 times in categories including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album for To Pimp a Butterfly.

When asked which he wants to win most, Lamar told The New York Times, “I want all of them,” adding, “Because it’s not only a statement for myself, but it’s a statement for the culture. They’re all important, because of the foundation the forefathers laid before me. Nas didn’t get a chance to be in that position. Pac. So to be acknowledged and to actually win, it’s for all of them.”
