Rick Ross has had an eventful year, and he’s not done yet. After being arrested for kidnapping and assault, getting engaged to Lira Mercer, and releasing his Black Dollar mixtape, the Biggest Bawse is readying his eighth album Black Market. Today he’s unveiled the first single “Sorry” featuring Chris Brown.

A regretful Breezy apologizes for breaking hearts and making mistakes in his relationships. “Broken condoms, lipstick marks, and unprotected sex,” croons Royalty’s father over the Scott Storch beat. “I try to change but I’m always out fu**ing around in the club / Pieces of my love letter tore up from this breakup / My worst nightmare went right in my back / I wish I could wake up / I feel like shit.”

Rozay is typically poetic in describing the minute details of his boss lifestyle—he asks a love to “lick every tattoo that’s on my face.”

In an interview with “The Breakfast Club,” he described the song as “more of a personal record, more of a passionate record,” while Chris called it “one of the most honest records I’ve done in a while. I appreciate ROSS for allowing me to be on a record and speak from the heart.”

Black Market is due in December.

During his visit to “The Breakfast Club,” Rozay also discussed his engagement, incarceration, and Meek Mill vs. Drake.
