New Mixtape: Young Thug - 'Slime Season'

  /  09.16.2015

Slime Season is here. Young Thug’s highly-anticipated mixtape is available to stream in all its glory. That means 18 tracks of unfiltered Thug, with barely any interruptions. His idol-turned-rival Lil Wayne appears on the previously released “Take Kare,” and Migos’ Quavo and Offset, as well as Peewee Longway all show up on the album’s second track, “Quarterback,” an uptempo firestarter produced by Sonny Digital.

Though initial reports suggested the entire tape would be produced by London On Da Track, he’s actually only responsible for about half. The rest comes from Metro Boomin, WondaGurl, Goose, Ricky Rack$, Isaac Flame, and a few others.

“Overdosin” is a particular highlight—Thug lets loose an assortment of wild ad libs over a crawling, metallic beat from Ricky Rack$.

Thugger will kick off his first-ever U.S. headline tour on Friday. His official debut Hy!£UN35 is due this fall.
