New Music: Jay Rock feat. Black Hippy - 'Vice City'

  /  09.10.2015

While we patiently wait for a Black Hippy album, the collective of Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, ScHoolboy Q, and Jay Rock comes together on “Vice City” for Rock’s new album 90059. Over a Cardo beat, Kendrick kicks things off.

“I got big money, big booty bitches / Man, that shit gon’ be death of me,” he rhymes over the sparse, melodic beat, trying out a flow we haven’t heard before.

Jay Rock adopts a similar stumbling rhyme pattern for his verses before Soul and Q come through with some killer verses of their own.

90059 arrives tomorrow featuring additional appearances from Kendrick, Busta Rhymes, and SZA.
