There has been a deluge of comebacks this year—from Dr. Dre to Janet Jackson—that it’s almost unsurprising to hear new music from Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds.

In between producing for Ariana Grande and Jordin Sparks, the 11-time Grammy winner has shared “We’ve Got Love,” the kickoff single from his forthcoming 10th album Return of the Tender Lover.

“I have been blessed to experience a lot of love in my life,” said Babyface in a press release. “It is the greatest gift in life and I feel blessed to share that universal message through my music.”

The song is a light-hearted, jazzy number. “We’ve got something that the world just can’t explain,” croons Babyface over cascading piano and vibrant horns.

The R&B icon is currently touring through October in the U.S. and South Africa.
