Look out, world—a huge collaboration is just around the corner, featuring an unholy alliance between Mariah Carey, French Montana, and Justin Bieber.
Mimi and French were working with producer Eric Hudson at the Record Plant in Hollywood on Thursday (July 30) when Bieber decided to pop in. According to TMZ, he told Mariah that he’s a huge fan, and she played him the song she’s working on. He was so taken with the track that he decided to contribute some guest vocals of his own—now, it looks like he may appear as a guest on the final version.
It’s unclear where their collaboration will end up, but French teased, “Coming soon‼️”
Mariah shared another photo with the caption: “We love @frenchmontana #pondestudio #surprise 🎤🎤🎤🎶🎶🎶🎶.”
Mariah and Bieber previously recorded a duet of Mariah’s Christmas classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You” for Bieber’s 2011 holiday album Under the Mistletoe.
