Alessia Cara Performs 'Here' on 'Tonight Show'

  /  07.30.2015

Alessia Cara made her late-night debut on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Wednesday. Joined by The Roots, the 19-year-old Canadian singer performed her anti-social anthem “Here,” while wearing an ironic T-shirt that said “Life of the party.”

An excited Alessia didn’t take the moment for granted. Following the performance, she tweeted, “AHHHHH. THAT WAS THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER !!”

Backstage, she spoke about the song’s origins. “It literally is like a three-minute rant that has a cool melody,” she explained.

On Aug. 28, Alessia will release her five-track debut EP Four Pink Walls.
