Beyoncé and Jay Z Score Emmy Nomination
Beyoncé and Jay Z can add another accolade to their list of accomplishments.
The superstar couple has been nominated for Outstanding Special Class Program for their “On the Run” HBO tour special at the 67th Emmy Awards.
They will face off against the Oscars, 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (Live From Lincoln Center),” and the 68th Annual Tony Awards.

Beyoncé was previously nominated for her Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show, and Jay Z won a Sports Emmy for Outstanding Music Composition/Direction/Lyrics for “Run This Town.”
They weren’t the only pop superstars nominated for Emmys. Lady Gaga received a nod for Outstanding Variety Special for “Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga: Cheek to Cheek LIVE!” and Katy Perry is up for Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program for her Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show.
The 67th Emmy Awards air live on Sunday, Sept. 20.
