A$AP Rocky and Rod Stewart Sing Carpool Karaoke

  /  07.15.2015

Following Iggy Azalea, Mariah Carey, and Justin Bieber, Rod Stewart was the latest pop star to hop in James Corden’s car for some Carpool Karaoke on “The Late Late Show.” While cruising through L.A. in James’ Range Rover, they played some of Stewart’s hits and A$AP Rocky’s A.L.L.A. single “Everyday,” which samples Stewart and Python Lee Jackson’s ’70s single “In a Broken Dream.”

All of a sudden Pretty Flacko magically appeared in the back seat to spit his verse—expletives and all—while James rapped along. Rod joined in to reprise the hook (“Everyday I spend my time / Drinking wine, feeling fine”) and the three turned it into a duet.

“I don’t know if I’ve ever felt as cool as I do at this moment in my life,” said Corden.

After exiting the car, Stewart praised Rocky, saying, “He’s a lovely bloke too, isn’t he?”
