Ciara Named Topshop Brand Ambassador
Singer, dancer, mother, model, and now Ciara can add a new job to her résumé. The 29-year-old fashionista has been named Brand Ambassador for Topshop USA.
Topshop owner Sir Philip Green made the announcement at the Fashion Retail Academy Awards in London on Wednesday (July 8). The “I Bet” singer shared the big news with her 6.7 million Instagram followers.
“So Cool Hearing Sir Phillip Introduce Me As The New Brand Ambassador For @TopShop #USA!!!!! I’m So Excited!” she said.
Ciara joins the Topshop family, which also includes Beyoncé, who teamed up with Topshop to launch Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd., a global athletic streetwear brand.
On July 14, CiCi will perform the National Anthem at the 86th Annual MLB All-Star Game at Cincinnati’s Great American Ball Park.
She also recently shot a video for “Dance Like We’re Making Love,” the next single off her album Jackie. “This is my best video to date,” she told BBC Radio 1Xtra.
