Chris Brown is a proud father. The “Loyal” singer, who celebrates his first Father’s Day today, is gushing about being a dad to his one-year-old daughter Royalty.
“My main focus now is just my music, but my daughter first,” he told Real 92.3’s Big Boy during a performance for iHeartRadio on Friday. “When it comes to me being able to perform and do this, it’s different. Right now I’m just doing it all for her.”
So does he see more babies in the future? “For right now, I’m learning how to be a dad, so I think through the process, it’s good for me to grow with her and get that one-on-one time.”
While he has no immediate plans to expand his family, he does want Royalty to have siblings one day. “Maybe five, six years from now, possibly. Doing it so she won’t be an only child. I got brothers and sisters, so I had a fun time picking on them. They would beat me up too.”
During Friday’s show, Breezy also performed new and old hits including “Five More Hours,” “Loyal,” and “Ayo.”
He will launch his “One Hell of a Nite” tour in August with special guests Omarion, Kid Ink, Fetty Wap, Teyana Taylor, Migos, and French Montana.
“We’re putting together a lineup that was just so for right now,” he said. “I want people to get their money’s worth.”
