Pharrell Williams Performs 'Happy' at Grammys

  /  02.08.2015

One year after stealing the spotlight with his Vivienne Westwood hat, Pharrell Williams returned to the Grammys to perform his chart-topping hit “Happy.” With some help from Hans Zimmer and pianist Lang Lang, Skateboard P rocked a lobby boy outfit—cue the memes—as he put a new spin on the upbeat tune.

He also paid tribute to the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” movement as his dancers rocked hoodies and put their hands in the air.

“Thank you, God. I forgot to say it earlier, but as you can see, I’m at your service, Lord,” he said at the end of his set.

The highly-favored Pharrell went home with three awards including Best Music Video for “Happy,” Best Urban Contemporary Album, and Best Pop Solo Performance.
