After giving us a behind-the-scenes look on Friday, Rihanna has posted an Instagram teaser for her “FourFiveSeconds” video co-starring Kanye West and Paul McCartney. Clad in a Sean John throwback denim jacket (Kanye’s own), a silhouetted RiRi performs the acoustic song against a white backdrop. The creative direction for the Inez and Vinoodh-directed clip was inspired by Yeezus.
“Kanye came up with the idea of doing just some real street, denim, all-American-type look,” said Rihanna. “Denim never goes out of style; it’s classic, it’s iconic, just like the fucking Beatles.”
The video will premiere in full tomorrow. Get a sneak peek below.
In addition to performing at DirecTV’s pre-Super Bowl bash with Kanye and Rae Sremmurd, RiRi attended a Super Bowl tailgate party on Sunday and weighed in on the Seahawks’ loss to the Patriots.
“How do you NOT send it back to my baby daddy Marshawn doe??!!” she said.
In her interview with i-D magazine, Rihanna revealed that Mariah Carey’s “Vision of Love” made her want to pursue music and when she works out, she listens to “anything by Linkin Park.” And what does she play when she wants to turn up? Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type.”
