The-Dream brings his dark fantasy to life in the opulent video for “That’s My Shit” featuring T.I. The Radio Killa throws on his finest and hits up a mysterious mansion party, where lingerie-clad ladies strut around—from the boardroom to the pool. He meets up with a dapper Tip for a game of dice before retiring to his throne.
The platinum hitmaker has reunited with his production partner Tricky Stewart for his EP Crown, which drops March 31. It will be followed by his Jewel EP in June, both to be released via his Contra Paris label.
“Crown is more modern R&B, and Jewel will be more what you might think of as my songwriter side, the songs I might have given to other artists before,” said The-Dream. “If you put me in a box, Jewel is more what you get when that box is open. But I’m not limited by any box I’ve been put in—every year I’m expanding and growing, and it makes for a more interesting plot.”
