Video: Common & John Legend - 'Glory'

Fresh off their win for Best Original Song at the Golden Globes, Common and John Legend debut the video for “Glory” off the Selma soundtrack. In between powerful scenes from the civil rights drama starring David Oyelowo, Oprah Winfrey, and Common himself, the Chicago MC preaches to the people, while Mr. Legend plays piano.

“Selma has awakened my humanity,” said Common during his acceptance speech on Sunday. “We look to the future and we want to create a better world. Now is our time to change the world. Selma is now.”

Common and John Legend may soon be adding more awards to their mantles. On Thursday, they will find out if they are nominated for an Oscar when the Academy Awards nominations are announced.
