Nicki Minaj Plays Beyoncé, Kim Kardashian in 'SNL' Skits
In addition to performing on “Saturday Night Live,” Nicki Minaj showed off her acting chops in a skit called “Jingle Ballerz.” The rap diva, who graduated from LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts, played her “Flawless (Remix)” collaborator Beyoncé aka the “Virgin Mary” in a hip-hop nativity, while “SNL” cast member Kate McKinnon took on the role of Justin Bieber.
“This moment is about my baby boy,” said Nicki in her best Bey accent before declaring, “He woke up like this…flawless!”
“One day he’ll turn water into wine and we’ll all be drunk in love!”
The skit also included appearances from Rihanna, Kanye West, and the Three Wise Men—Eminem, Rick Ross, and Riff Raff (played by James Franco).
Nicki returned as the voluptuous Kim Kardashian during “Weekend Update,” and addressed her famous nude photos from Paper magazine. She explained that they were taken out of context and were intended as public service announcements and one was even shot for a Hanukkah card.
