After releasing two singles overseas, Nicole Scherzinger launches her first U.S. single “Run,” produced by Felix Snow. The former Pussycat Doll pours her heart out on the raw and vulnerable piano ballad, on which she gives advice to the next girl.
“Don’t let him lead you to the dark / Don’t tell him all your secrets / He’ll leave you with a broken heart,” sings Nicole.
Her second solo album Big Fat Lie, executive produced by Tricky Stewart and The-Dream, arrives October 20 in the U.K. featuring “Your Love,” “On the Rocks,” and the T.I.-assisted “Electric Blue.” The album is slated for an early 2015 release in the U.S. on Epic Records.
“I’ve battled a lot of issues and demons, as we all do growing up,” said Nicole. “But I finally feel confident in my own skin, and so I’m open enough to talk about love, insecurities, relationships, my sensual side. I’ve found my own musical soundtrack to my soul.”
