Game

Ten years after the release of his breakout debut The Documentary, The Game is gearing up for the sequel.

The Documentary 2 will arrive on January 18, 2015 (which is a Sunday), he announced on Instagram. “Exactly 10 years from The Documentary….. Nobody is fucking with 2 !!!!!!!!! So don’t drop nowhere near me….. You’ve been warned!” said Game.

In an interview with Power 106’s J Cruz and Justin Credible, he revealed that he was “going back to the Just Blazes, Scott Storches, Dr. Dres,” who worked on the original album.

The Documentary went gold in its first week and featured the 50 Cent-assisted hits “Hate It or Love It” and “How We Do.”

He has also pushed back the release of his Blood Money La Familia compilation from September 16 to October 14. It has already spawned the singles “Bigger Than Me” and “Or Nah” featuring Too $hort, Problem, AV, and Eric Bellinger.

“Spent the last 48 hours in the studio putting the final touches on #YearOfTheWolf & even though the date is pushed until Oct 14th I can promise my fans this #BloodMoney album will be better than anything else dropping this year,” he said.

Earlier this week, The Game brought together his hip-hop peers including Diddy, Rick Ross, 2 Chainz, Fabolous, and Wale for the Ferguson anthem “Don’t Shoot,” inspired by Mike Brown.
