Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson would have turned 55 this month. But his legacy continues to live on in the short film for “A Place With No Name,” the latest single off his posthumous album Xscape, which premiered on Twitter and was shown on the Jumbotron in Times Square on Wednesday evening.

In the beautifully-shot clip, directed by Samuel Bayer (Nirvana, Rolling Stones), a man is led to a magical place by a mysterious woman. The video also includes outtakes and behind-the-scenes footage of MJ shot during the production of his “In the Closet” short film, which has been kept in the vault since 1992.

The Dr. Freeze-produced song, which samples America’s 1972 classic “A Horse With No Name,” was originally recorded in 1998 at Record Plant Recording Studio. Stargate contributed additional production.

All hail the King of Pop.
