In the seven months following the release of her chart-topping EP Sail Out, Jhené Aiko has performed on “SNL,” toured the world with Drake, and scored a top 10 R&B single with “The Worst.”
Now after much anticipation, the L.A. songstress drops “To Love & Die,” the first offering from her full-length debut Souled Out. She puts it all on the line for love and even quotes 50 Cent’s “Many Men” on the dark and melodic production, which features Cocaine 80s.
“‘Cause where I’m from, we live for the love, die for the love,” she coos.
Souled Out is due this summer featuring a collaboration with her daughter called “Promises.”
