Less than a year after topping the charts with “Blurred Lines,” Robin Thicke is readying a new album.
The soul crooner will release his seventh album on July 1 via Star Trak/Interscope Records, it was announced today.
He debuted the first single “Get Her Back,” which he penned about his wife Paula Patton, at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. He also performed the tender tribute with winning contestant Josh Kaufman on the season finale of “The Voice.”
The new album was written and produced entirely by Thicke. It marks the follow-up to last year’s Blurred Lines, which debuted at No. 1. The title track featuring Pharrell and T.I. spent 12 weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.
More information about the album will be released soon.
