Robin Thicke is doing whatever it takes to win back the love of his life. The R&B crooner debuted his new song “Get Her Back,” dedicated to estranged wife Paula Patton, at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards. Rocking a new short haircut, he performed the stripped-down song with its personal lyrics.

“I gotta treat her right / I gotta cherish her for life / I gotta get her, go get her, go get her, go get her tonight,” he sings.

He also won the award for Top R&B Song for “Blurred Lines,” and took the opportunity to thank his wife of nine years.

“Most importantly, I’d like to thank my wife for all the love and support, and for putting up with me all these years,” he said.
