Hero

Converse brings together Frank Ocean and The Clash’s Mick Jones and Paul Simonon for the latest in its “Three Artists. One Song” music series. Produced by Diplo, the reggae-and-rock-tinged “Hero” was recorded in London, Hawaii, and Los Angeles, and features additional vocals from the West Los Angeles Children’s Choir.

“I don’t know how we could expect a Clash-Frank Ocean-Diplo song to sound, but this sounds like that,” Diplo told Billboard. “It just has all kinds of vibes on it. We really had no rules.”

“Hero” marks the ninth collaboration in Converse’s “Three Artists. One Song” series, which has featured André 3000, Kid Cudi, Pharrell, Soulja Boy, and Gorillaz.
