Beyoncé

Beyoncé’s reign at No. 1 has come to an end. After spending three weeks atop the charts, Queen Bey has been removed from her throne.

Her self-titled album sold 130,000 copies in its fourth week and opens the year at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, according to Nielsen SoundScan (via Billboard).

The album has sold 1.43 million copies to date in the U.S. It has now surpassed total sales of her previous album 4, which was released in 2011 and has sold 1.39 million.

BEYONCÉ was dethroned by the soundtrack to Disney’s Frozen, which moves into the No. 1 spot with 165,000 copies.

Elsewhere, Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2 sits at No. 3 (55,000), Katy Perry’s PRISM climbs 5-4 (51,000), and Lorde’s Pure Heroine jumps 7-5 (46,000).
