Album Cover: Childish Gambino - 'because the internet'

Childish Gambino has quit NBC’s “Community” and is focusing on his music. On Dec. 10, he will release his album because the internet. The cover art features a close-up of the L.A.-born rapper wearing a Hawaiian shirt.

The album title was given to him by Beck. “I felt like it was appropriate to my career, it was appropriate to the album, it was appropriate to life in general,” he told VIBE.

Last month, he dropped the first single “3005” and can also be heard on Jhené Aiko’s “Bed Peace.”
