Melanie Fiona taps into her West Indian roots for her latest collaboration. The Canadian songbird duets with dancehall star Gyptian on the sensual “One More Time,” produced by Jerry Wonda.
“Naturally I am a big fan of Melanie, so getting to work with her on this song was a real honor,” Gyptian told Fuse. “Once we got in Jerry Wonda’s studio together, the vibes were right. It was pure magic.”
Last night in Atlanta, Melanie kicked off her five-date college tour with Bridget Kelly and Elijah Blake. After leaving Universal Motown earlier this year, she is currently a free agent.
Gyptian’s album Love, Sex, & Reggae is due October 29 featuring additional appearances from Estelle and Major Lazer.
