Video: Lady Gaga - 'Applause'

Put your hands up. Lady Gaga sets off an explosion of fashion and art with her provocative video for “Applause.” The pop provocateur goes nearly nude and models high-fashion looks in the clip, directed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

She struts down a runway in black, rolls on the floor with only seashells covering her up, and transforms into a black swan. She wears her sad clown makeup from the single cover, while purple glitter shoots across the stage during the grand finale.

The dance record, co-produced by DJ White Shadow, is the first single off her upcoming album ARTPOP, due November 11.
