Honest

Future is taking an Honest approach to his sophomore album. The Atlanta rapper has announced a new title and will debut the first single tonight.

Honest, previously titled Future Hendrix, will arrive on November 26 via Epic Records.

Honest is the new me. It represents the truth I try to bring to my music,” said Future of the follow-up to his 2012 debut Pluto. “I plan to break the mold with this album so that it will be nothing like you’ve heard from me or any other artist out. You can either tell the truth or face the Future.”

The first single, which also serves as the title track, will debut on Ustream on Thursday at 12:01 a.m. EST. The record was written by Future and produced by Metro Boomin (Lil Wayne, Ludacris) and DJ Spinz (Ca$h Out, Waka Flocka Flame).

“It’s like a club uptempo record,” Future told Rap-Up TV. “Now’s my turn to give them something from me without the features. It’s me by myself. I don’t have a feature on this.”

He will join Drake and Miguel on the “Would You Like a Tour?” arena trek, which kicks off September 25 in Portland, OR.
