Mac Miller is not your average rapper. The Pittsburgh MC made a splash by announcing his album release date in a bath tub.
During a Ustream session, he revealed that Watching Movies With the Sound Off will arrive on June 18. Mac’s sophomore set features the first single “S.D.S.,” for which a video debuted last week.
The follow-up to his 2011 debut Blue Slide Park will include 16 tracks and three bonus cuts.
“I’ve been working harder on this album than any project i have ever been a part of. This is by far the most time i have spent on an album,” tweeted Mac. “I have been killing myself with anticipation, waiting to give this to you all. after 9 LONG ass months. it’s finally time to get started.”
He plans to launch a tour in support of the album this summer, and will head to Europe with Lil Wayne in the fall.
