Love Songs

Not only is Beyoncé planning to release a solo album this year, she is also reuniting with Destiny’s Child for a collection of romantic songs.

Music World Entertainment/Columbia Records/Legacy Recordings will release Destiny’s Child – Love Songs, a new career-spanning collection of the most sensual and romantic recordings from the R&B supergroup, on January 29.

“I am so proud to announce the first original Destiny’s Child music in eight years!” wrote Beyoncé on her website.

The compilation is comprised of music from the group’s catalog spanning between 1997 and 2004, and also includes “Nuclear,” the first new Destiny’s Child recording since 2004. Produced by Pharrell (who co-wrote the track with Michelle Williams, James Fauntleroy, and Lonny Bereal), “Nuclear” features vocal production by Beyoncé and Bereal.

The romantically-themed Love Songs is the second Destiny’s Child compilation to be released through Legacy Recordings following last year’s Playlist – The Very Best of Destiny’s Child.
