Only six months after releasing her sixth LP New Life, Monica is already back in the studio working on her next album. The R&B songstress took to Twitter to share some of the big-name producers on board.
The 31-year-old was in New York this week meeting with her label RCA Records about the project. She plans to get in the studio with a who’s who of hitmakers including Missy Elliott, Rico Love, Jim Jonsin, Stargate, Mike WiLL Made It, Polow Da Don, and more.

She posted a photo of herself with RCA Records CEO Peter Edge, writing, “The Amazing stance Ali has in the background says it ALLâ¤Me & Peter Edgeâ¤Fresh Music, Feel, Producers & Sound.”
New Life entered the charts at No. 4 in April and featured her duet with Brandy, “It All Belongs to Me.”
