Just when you thought Game had tapped out the guest list for his upcoming album Jesus Piece, the Compton rapper is adding another star to the mix. Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine will join him on a new collaboration.
“When everybody hears the Adam Levine record, I think they gonna go crazy,” the 32-year-old MC told Rolling Stone. “I want that to hit people in the face. It’s a real dope record.”
Due in December, the follow-up to 2011’s The R.E.D. Album will serve as his first conceptual LP. “I definitely know I’m going to catch a lot of shit for this album and a lot of people are gonna be mad,” he said. “But I think more people will appreciate it and more people will be understanding to it. Controversy is not something that I shy away from.”
The star-studded set is also expected to include collaborations with Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Trey Songz, Scarface, and more.
The first single, “Celebration” featuring Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, and Tyga, entered at No. 82 this week on the Billboard Hot 100.
