Sophia Grace and Rosie aren’t the only youngsters covering Nicki Minaj. The elementary school chorus from Public School 22 in Graniteville, Staten Island, tackled the rapper’s ballad “Marilyn Monroe” in celebration of the late icon’s birthday. The group of fifth-graders, who rose to stardom with their YouTube covers of Adele and Lady Gaga, performed the vulnerable Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded cut, with a solo from Denise. See them take it to school.
