Peace, love, and soul ruled at the 2011 Soul Train Awards. Keri Hilson took a break from recording her third album to attend the 40th anniversary taping at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre on Thursday (Nov. 17).

Doug E. Fresh, Naughty by Nature, and Goodie Mob participated in a tribute to the late Heavy D. R&B crooners Joe, Eric Benét, and Robin Thicke paid homage to Legend Award recipient Earth, Wind & Fire.

Lloyd catered to the grown and sexy with “Dedication to My Ex (Miss That),” while Mindless Behavior thrilled their young fans with “Girls Talkin’ Bout.”

Common, Cee Lo Green, Chrisette Michelle, Marsha Ambrosius, Musiq Soulchild, and Anthony Hamilton also performed at the soulful celebration.
