Wish Me Luck

Governor brings 50 Cent along as his good luck charm on “Wish Me Luck.” The G-Unit signee sings in a scratchy tenor on the organ-driven banger, where he recounts his struggle to succeed and asks for detractors to wish him some good fortune. “I got everything on the line/ I’m out here, I’m on the grind/ Tryin’ to get mine/ At least you could wish me luck,” he tells listeners before throwing it to his mentor for a verse.

Aside from helping out his artist, 50 tells MTV News that he’s planning to put out his fifth album Black Magic this summer, having completed “80 percent” of the LP. The “aggressive” album will boast contributions from Eminem, Alex Da Kid, Boi-1da, Symbolyc One, and more.
