Chris Brown is on a winning streak. After his well-received tribute to Michael Jackson at the BET Awards, chart-topping single “Deuces,” and role in this weekend’s No. 1 movie Takers, the singer is keeping up the momentum by releasing new music for his fans.
The 21-year-old star shared the announcement on Twitter, revealing that his new single will please his female fanbase. “Geeked UP!!! NEW SINGLE called ‘Calypso’ coming real soon produced by POLOW DA DON,” he tweeted. “This is a song that women have been missing from ME!!”
His mixtape single “Deuces,” which is available on iTunes, recently hit No. 1 on the Billboard Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart. He is also expected to release his cinematic “12 Strands (Matrix)” video on the Internet this month.
Just last week, Brown got more good news when the judge told him that he was doing a “great job” for following the terms of his probation. He is due back in court November 18.
