Video: Drake - 'Over'

Drake reflects on the rise from his bedroom to the world stage in the video for “Over,” the first release from his debut album Thank Me Later, arriving June 15. Director Anthony Mandler takes the less-is-more approach to capture Young Money’s shooting star, while Roc Nation’s Rita Ora lights up the screen as Drizzy’s leading lady.

“Drake and I were very conscious about trying to push the limits and trying to push things forward,” Mandler told staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud. “He came to me because he wanted to throw away the conventions of a medium, and take chances and be daring and take certain themes that are relevant to him and try to visualize them in not the obvious way.”
