T.I. sits down for his first interview since completing his prison sentence. The King of the South, who’s happy to be home, says he’s using his time behind bars as a learning experience, but didn’t write much while he was away (“I wasn’t really motivated to create”). He also reveals the direction of his next album, due August 24.

“Paper Trail was a lot more about thoughts and this is more about feelings,” he explains. “This is significantly more aggressive. It’s going hard like classic T.I.”
