Leona Lewis and Misty

Animal rights activist Leona Lewis lends her support to the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA), the world’s largest alliance of animal welfare organizations. The 24-year-old vegetarian and her family dog, Misty, a rescued Stafford Bull Terrier, appear in the WSPA’s Universal Declaration on Animal Welfare campaign.

“I support the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) because they are trying to end some of the most appalling acts of animal cruelty in the world,” said the “Bleeding Love” singer. “Now I make careful choices like the food I eat and the things I buy.”
