Kanye West went on another tirade when he appeared on “VH1 Storytellers,” discussing everyone from Chris Brown and Radiohead to Michael Phelps and O.J. Simpson.
According to Reuters, Mr. West was less than pleased that Radiohead’s Thom Yorke allegedly snubbed him backstage at the Grammys on Feb. 8, especially since he is a fan of the British band and considers it one of his inspirations.
“So when he performed at the Grammys, I sat the fu** down,” West said.
He also addressed the Chris Brown-Rihanna incident, asking the audience, “Can’t we give Chris a break? … I know I make mistakes in life.”
Not stopping there, the “Love Lockdown” chart-topper made comments about O.J. Simpson that didn’t go over too well with the crowd. “O.J. Simpson, amazing. Is he not? What he did, when he did, what he did. Was he not amazing though?”
He did receive cheers when he said, “Michael Jackson, amazing. Michael Phelps, amazing … He’s a real fu**in’ person; he makes mistakes,” referring to the photo of the Olympic gold medalist smoking from a marijuana pipe.
Some of those comments will be seen when the shows airs on Saturday at 9 p.m. on VH1.
