Rihanna and Beyoncé may have owned 2008, but 2009 is all about Ciara. The R&B hottie gave you a taste of her new album with the T-Pain-produced “Go Girl,” but she’s saved the best for next year.

staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud has exclusively learned that Ciara has chosen “Never Ever” featuring fellow ATLien Young Jeezy as the next single from her third LP Fantasy Ride. The track was co-produced by Polow Da Don (“Promise”) and Elvis “BlacElvis” Williams (Beyoncé’s “Ego”) and will be released to radio in early ’09, while the album will follow in spring.

Fantasy Ride is the follow-up to 2006’s Ciara: The Evolution, which debuted at No. 1 and spawned the hit singles “Promise,” “Like a Boy,” and “Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone” featuring 50 Cent.
