The Game & Ne-Yo Shoot 'Camera Phone' Video
staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud was on set Tuesday at Los Angeles nightclub Area where The Game and Ne-Yo stood center stage, decked out in tailored suits, designer shoes, and fedoras. It looked as though the Compton MC was taking a few pages out of Ne-Yo’s “Gentleman” handbook in his new video for “Camera Phone,” the latest single off the deluxe edition of L.A.X.
The Kevin Connolly (HBO’s “Entourage”) directed video showed a side of The Game we rarely see, as the rapper traded in his white tees and Dickies for a more formal look. Connolly wasn’t the only director on set. Chris Robinson also briefly stopped by to visit. Some other surprise guests included Pleasure P, formerly of Pretty Ricky, socialite Brittny Gastineau, and actor Evan Ross.
The fellas were surrounded by ladies as they received VIP treatment in the smoky club, which also served as a dance floor for Ne-Yo and “Dancing with the Stars'” Cheryl Burke, who performed a sexy choreographed number that Ne-Yo was taught just before the cameras rolled.
A far cry from Game’s “My Life” video, the “thug and a gentleman,” as they refer to themselves on the record, will be sure to sweep the ladies off of their feet with this one.
