Christina Milian is in the studio finishing up her fourth as-yet-untitled album, which will be released on MySpace Records in 2009. The first single, a ballad called “Us Against the World,” will debut this month.

“It’s very feminine,” Christina told staging-rapup.kinsta.cloud about her first album since 2006’s So Amazin’. “I find that there’s been a lot of maturity in my vocals. [So Amazin’] was a little more urban-pop, so this one is pop-urban-international.”

The 27-year-old is working with Cool & Dre, who produced the bulk of her last album, as well as Madd Scientist (Nicole Scherzinger’s “Supervillain”). Kanye West produced and is featured on a track, while Pitbull also makes an appearance.

In the meantime, you can catch Christina playing a cheerleader in the direct-to-DVD movie Bring It On Cinco and next year’s romantic comedy The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past starring Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner. This November, look for her in the video game Need For Speed UnderCover.
