Amid the controversy, Jay-Z became the first hip-hop act to headline the rock-dominated Glastonbury music festival in Pilton, England on Saturday. He opened with Oasis’ “Wonderwall.” Oasis guitarist Noel Gallager had criticized the booking of Jay as the headliner saying, “I’m not having hip-hop at Glastonbury. It’s wrong.” Hov proved the doubters wrong and delivered a strong performance.
